Dakmare Bolanos Vaglio - MEDICAL DIRECTOR

She has 25 years of general practice, with a specialty in Occupational Health. She has worked in the public and private sectors and has considerable experience working with persons with alcohol/drug dependencies and has treated them successfully plus has referred many to various recovery programs. She is the medical director and co-founder of Costa Rica New Hope.

Rosi Torres – Activity Director

Is the Director of Activities of Costa Rica New Hope, as such a I have a position which I love and respect, I realize my position to my full capabilities and  with total enthusiasm and affection for the benefit of our clients, who are our reason of being. I must begin to indicate that, the activities that are part of my job is to conduct yoga sessions which is an effective form to arrive at a true inner relaxation, to eliminate stress and to learn meditation techniques. I also conduct long walks in our amazing footpaths and strolls in bicycles in the wonderful natural environment of Orosi, which is a tranquil and full of spirit. We have also added visits to some historical and natural places of interest of our country, to complement, the best attention to our clients, to whom we offered a warm atmosphere, pleasant, calm, environment and great service that will make with the client have a greater affection and humanistic vision.

I was a client for New Hope Costa Rica. I am an addict and alcoholic but thank God, to New Hope Costa Rica I have overcame my addictions and now want to help our clients and family members that have suffered as much as I have and as much as my family has. I feel I aim a living testament to what this program has to offer. Now a little about me I started off my career in the United States Marines. I attended Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale Arizona, Finishing off my Bachelors degree in Management at Arizona State University, and then my master degree at university of phoenix. I’ve been a restaurant consultant ever since however since my experience here at New Hope Costa Rica I found out I have another calling in life. I also work in activities and work closely with our client to accommodate any needs they might have I feel I’m a good listener and motivator, and always have an open ear.
